Originality Technique ImpactI can tell you worked really hard on this. (I've commented before that I don't know much about digital art, so I don't know how helpful I can be, but I'll try).
Your style seems a little more relaxed than the Anime's and there is a lot more depth to the shading than what you see a lot of the time. You can really feel the emotion in the picture, which is crucial to telling a proper story in your art. You can tell that he and his Pokemon have a bond that's unmatched.
If I were to give any advice it'd be to keep working on structure and form and to look at pose references, you have a great start, you just need to keep working.
